Emily and Jake’s intimate wedding on the North Shore of Oahu was such a sweet and unforgettable day. Emily started the day getting ready with her friends and family at her little island home while Jake had a boy’s weekend in a yurt on the beach. Their peachy sunset color pallet perfectly complimented the blues and greens of Oahu, Hawaii. They held an intimate ceremony on the beach with Emily’s nana officiating. Sea turtles swam in the shore-break while their guests watched from cozy beach blankets. After they tied the knot they released butterflies before running off to bask in their newly wedded glow.

I took Emily to a few of my favorite spots on the north shore of Oahu for some couples portraits. We started out at a coconut tree farm with stunning views of the mountains. Then we made our way down to the beach where Jake adorned his bride with a plumeria in her ear. We dipped our toes in the sand and saw the beginnings of a rainbow peeking out in the sky.

When we arrived at a beach park for their reception Emily and Jake greeted their guests as the Summers, a new last name they had picked out together. We had dinner by the ocean, and danced under the most beautiful sunset. A full rainbow arched over the reception space and just as the most romantic misting of rain started. Emily and Jake danced the night away at their intimate wedding on the North Shore of Oahu and I am so thankful I got to be a part of it.
