I was beyond excited to capture Sitting on Saturn’s first time playing The Observatory in Orange County after selling out their smaller Constellation Room multiple times. Little did anyone know, this would also be the last time the group would be performing a local show under the name Sitting on Stacy before announcing their name change. I am absolutely honored to have been able to capture both a first and a last for one of my long-time favorite bands.
Last summer, I captured Grant’s proposal to Chloe on the stunning Catalina Island. Having been there before, I helped Grant plan by sharing tips, photos, and detailed instructions to ensure everything went smoothly. On the day, I arrived early to scout the perfect spot and coordinated with Grant on where to meet.
Alex and Rem’s summer solstice elopement in Joshua Tree National Park was about as perfect as they come! Full of love, simplicity, and adventure, it perfectly captured their essence as a couple: intimate, meaningful, and deeply connected to nature—and, of course, with their beloved dog Bodhi by their side.
I’ve been a fan of Sitting on Saturn (formerly known as Sitting on Stacy) for several years, so when I had the chance to photograph their show at Belly Up Tavern in San Diego, I couldn’t have been more stoked. The band—comprising of lead singer and guitarist Hoyt Yeatman, bassist Kyle Hart, drummer Trevor Smith, and joined by brass player Josh Horita, as always delivered a high energy performance they’ve come to be known for.
Cabo San Lucas is a dream destination for elopements, offering golden beaches, dramatic sunsets, and unparalleled intimacy. As a photographer, I’ve seen how the right location can transform your elopement into a stunning story. Here’s how to plan your day and make the most of this breathtaking destination.
There are some stories that remind you why you love what you do, and Julia and Mike’s proposal in Venice Beach California was one of those unforgettable moments. It was a perfect blend of love, surprise, and celebration – with a touch of cinematic filmy magic as the sun set over the Pacific Ocean.
Oahu, Hawaii, is a destination like no other—a place where love and adventure come together against the backdrop of breathtaking landscapes. As someone who spent part of my early adulthood living on this incredible island, I developed not only an appreciation for its beauty but also a deep respect for its culture and land.
One of the most challenging aspects of mental illness is that it’s often “unseen.” Unlike physical conditions that manifest visibly, mental disorders can be hidden beneath the surface. My anxiety and panic disorder don’t have outwardly visible symptoms, but they’ve taken a significant toll on my body and mind. From the outside looking in, I might appear as happy and healthy as ever, but that’s just not the truth.
While in Greece I worked with Augustine Hat Co. to create some images of their products. The vibe was European summer and we chose to shoot in our stunning Greek villa overlooking the Aegean Sea. The stunning architecture mixed with the incredible views made the perfect back drop to shoot Augustine Hat Co. in Greece.
When it comes to moments that define a lifetime, few can rival the beauty and emotion of a marriage proposal. As a photographer, I have had the privilege of witnessing and capturing some of the most heartwarming proposals. When Rylan reached out to me to capture his romantic Laguna Beach proposal to Ingrid I could hardly contain my excitement.
