Oahu will always have my heart, so getting to share it with couples who choose to get married here is the sweetest full-circle moment. Kenzie and Joshua flew to the island for the first time to say “I do,” and trusted me not only to document it but to help guide them through the whole experience. Oahu holds a special place in my heart—I once called it home and completely fell in love with island life and the Hawaiian culture. Coming back to document love stories here always feels like returning to somewhere familiar.
I truly can not say enough good things about these guys. Having had the privilege of working with them is a blast, and they have been nothing but kind and welcoming to me. Their talent speaks for itself, but what has stood out to me from the very first show has been their character. They are funny, hard-working, humble, kind, and just genuinely good people. If anyone in the crowd hasn’t heard their music before, they leave the show a new fan.
Mat and Hue are the kind of people you instantly feel comfortable around. Down-to-earth, funny, creative, and just so easygoing. But the most important thing is that they are completely, head-over-heels, madly in love. The way they interact with each other makes you forget there’s even a camera around, and that’s exactly what makes for the best engagement photos.
In August 2023, I flew to Greece for the kind of girls trip that honestly felt too good to be real, a Mamma Mia themed adventure through the islands of Skiathos and Skopelos. It was the kind of trip you imagine while blasting “Dancing Queen” in your kitchen. Sun-soaked beaches, white-washed buildings, and spontaneously bursting into ABBA sing-alongs.
San Diego showed up for this one.
This February marked Sitting on Saturn’s first local show under their new name, and the Music Box was bursting at the seams. Packed from floor to balcony, the energy in the room was nonstop—screaming lyrics, dancing shoulder to shoulder, and celebrating this new chapter with the kind of joy that can only come from a hometown crowd.
As a brand photographer, I’m always drawn to projects that blend lifestyle and landscape—especially when they reflect both personal roots and a brand’s soul. Augustine Hat Co. is one of those brands that gets it. Their designs are inspired by travels under the salty air and desert sun, and their Milly Raffia Cowgirl Hat captures that free-spirited, coastal-meets-cowgirl energy perfectly.
Danielle and Evan’s springtime desert wedding in Scottsdale, Arizona was everything a couple could hope for—laid-back, vibrant, and full of love. These two are some of the kindest, most easygoing people I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and their day was truly a reflection of that.
I was beyond excited to capture Sitting on Saturn’s first time playing The Observatory in Orange County after selling out their smaller Constellation Room multiple times. Little did anyone know, this would also be the last time the group would be performing a local show under the name Sitting on Stacy before announcing their name change. I am absolutely honored to have been able to capture both a first and a last for one of my long-time favorite bands.
Last summer, I captured Grant’s proposal to Chloe on the stunning Catalina Island. Having been there before, I helped Grant plan by sharing tips, photos, and detailed instructions to ensure everything went smoothly. On the day, I arrived early to scout the perfect spot and coordinated with Grant on where to meet.
Alex and Rem’s summer solstice elopement in Joshua Tree National Park was about as perfect as they come! Full of love, simplicity, and adventure, it perfectly captured their essence as a couple: intimate, meaningful, and deeply connected to nature—and, of course, with their beloved dog Bodhi by their side.
