When it comes to moments that define a lifetime, few can rival the beauty and emotion of a marriage proposal. As a photographer, I have had the privilege of witnessing and capturing some of the most heartwarming proposals. When Rylan reached out to me to capture his romantic Laguna Beach proposal to Ingrid I could hardly contain my excitement.

During the inquiry and booking process, I could tell how much Rylan loved and adored his soon-to-be fiance. He shared his vision with me and together we hatched a plan to surprise Ingrid with a simple floral picnic set up on the beach so he could pop the question. I spent the evening capturing their love for each other in the golden hour glow of one of my favorite beaches in Laguna, California.

These intimate moments are what I live for as a photographer — the raw, unfiltered emotions that only a proposal can evoke. I was fortunate enough to be asked to document this romantic Laguna beach proposal. Capturing the beginning of Rylan and Ingrid’s beautiful journey towards a lifetime together is an honor I will never take for granted.
